Apple is "Out Dated" and slowing in China, the billionaire entrepreneur Jia Yueting told CNBC in his first international televised interview.
Jia is CEO and Chairman of the Chinese conglomerate Le-eco (formerly LeTV), who is best known for being the "China Netflix" but a range of products that includes smartphones, TVs, mountain bikes and more recently, electric vehicles.
Last week launched the Leeco, supercar injured smart self-driving, designed to compete with the Tesla Model X. In the latest development of the "ecosystem Leeco," Jia hopes to sell content, including movies, TV shows and music to injured drivers.
CNBC at the China Entrepreneur Club of the event this past weekend and had a number of bold statements to offer, including some very critical for Apple.
Perhaps to prove his correct belief, there have been many reports of SE iPhone shortage in various countries around the world and has done very well in China. In Japan, some customers who pre-ordered the SE in carrier stores before its release last month have still yet to receive them, and even the United States listed the phone is 2-3 with a week waiting period when buying directly from Apple itself.

One of the most important reasons [for slowing sales] is that Apple’s innovation has become extremely slow. For example, a month ago Apple launched the iPhone SE. From an industry insider’s perspective, this is a product with a very low level of technology…We think this is something they just shouldn’t have done.Speaking at a meeting of the China Entrepreneur Club, an exclusive summit of business leaders, 43 Jia explained why foreign rivals fear, especially Apple, which is also expanding its ecosystem beyond technology consumers to driverless cars.
We think the difference between us and Apple is very large. Apple is a mobile phone company focused on hardware and software…LeShi [another name for LeEco] is focused on the internet first, and only then on software, and finally on hardware. It is often said that first impressions are the most important, so make sure each account. Such is indeed the impression Jia Yueting inevitably left in his first international televised interview. Mr. Yueting, the 43-year-old CEO of China Leeco conglomerate, was recently interviewed
Apple only has individual apps. This was the right choice during the first generation of mobile net, when CPUs [central processing units] and the mobile network speeds were not fast enough. However now we’re moving into the next era of mobile internet, these problems no longer exist. Moreover, having separate apps just means great obstacles in the user experience. We hope to break down these obstacles.

The curious case of the iPhone SE :-
Despite
criticism of Apple has been individuals like Mr. Yueting and in comment
sections or message board topics around the internet, many signs
indicate that the phone is doing better than even Apple perhaps expected. Earlier
this year, Tim Cook, the CEO of the company, mentioned the idea that
60% of iPhone customers has not updated their devices beyond the iPhone
5S and so there was a clear indication majority wanted a smaller phone.
